About the Autumn Leaves Drop Earrings
Jewelry artisan Michael Vincent Michaud has studied extensively with some of America's finest glass artists and institutions and collaborated with his acclaimed father on jewelry collections for museums around the world. Today, Michael combines his knowledge of glass working, his experience in jewelry creation, and his keen sense of design to create colorful works of wearable art.
His original Autumn Leaves Drop Earrings consists of hand-cast recycled glass leaves of orchid, amber, and pale yellow colors, secured with hinges of gold-plated bronze. The plating of 24k gold has a matte luster, forming an elegant combination of color, shape, and shine. Includes ear wires of sterling silver gold fill. Artisan-made in Connecticut.
Please note: Because the recycled glass is hand-cast, small variations in shape and clarity are to be expected and adds artistic character.
