About the Hiking Gnome Recycled Glass Wind Chime
In the foothills of northern Georgia, our family of glass artisans have been handcrafting chimes from recycled bottles since 1970. They have since expanded the business to include two of their children, creating a truly artistically-inclined family business! Over the decades, they have mastered the art of wind chime creation so that you may enjoy your chime for many years to come!
The unique Gnome Chime consists of 3 strands of reclaimed bottle segments sliced and melted down to form circular glass drops and beads, each reflecting the natural color of the solid glass in woodsy shades of blue, green, and brown. The glass chime is suspended with resilient woven filament that does not decay. Atop the chime is an whimsical hiking gnome silhouette, laser cut from metal and powder-coated in black. Measures approximately 25 inches in overall length with a metal hanger. The chime is designed for outdoors, but a sheltered location is recommended, where high winds and moving objects are at a minimum.
