Emmolo Merlot is from vineyards in Napa Valley, most of which have been in the Wagner family for generations. The Wagner family came to Rutherford from Sicily in 1923, starting one of Napa Valley's leading grapevine nurseries. They planted vineyards in the 1950's.
This merlot is a wonderful rich, dark, and well-balanced wine. It is one that delivers a taste and character that are both unexpected and extraordinary.
